Church Planting in the Muslim Region of Zanzaibar

Join us as we support the expansion of our ministry network in Tanzania by raising up leaders and finishing our church plant in the Muslim region of Zanzibar.

We are witnessing the immense and growing challenges facing christians in Tanzania. The churches here are striving to reach and help every corner of the country, from remote areas to major cities, amidst the increasing influence of Islam.

In places like Zanzibar, where the Muslim population exceeds 96%, religious barriers have hindered the establishment and growth of churches. Religious persecution, difficulties in acquiring land and rejection from neighbors all work against those trying to spread the light of the gospel in this island region.

Former muslim turned pastor, Nashon Ramadhan Kibiriti, leads our church in Zanzibar and has secured land to establish a church on the island. Despite this significant achievement, the church continues to encounter strong opposition and desperately needs more resources to complete the construction of their meeting place. Pastor Kibiriti also needs a vehicle for transportation, as all his ministry has been done on foot.

Join us in our endeavor to finalize construction projects, nurture leaders, and further expand the Mosaic Global ministry network to reach the people of Tanzania.
